The Zululand Chamber of Commerce was initially founded on the 8th October 1926 at a preliminary meeting chaired by C.F Adams and then an inaugural meeting was held on 23rd November 1926 in Eshowe chaired by the president Mr C.F. Adams.The name was then changed to the Zululand Chamber of Commerce & Industry at an Annual General Meeting held in Mtunzini on the 24th November 1962.Then at a meeting of the Joint Executive Committee of the Zululand Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Natal Chamber of Industries held on 23rd October 1992 the name was changed to the Zululand Chamber of Business.On 23rd April 2008 a resolution was passed under chairmanship of Mr Phiwo Tango changing the name from the Zululand Chamber of Business to the Zululand Chamber of Commerce & Industry
